Quality Osteopathic care in South-East Cornwall

Providing an alternative to long NHS wait times

About

WholeBody

Osteopathy

At WholeBody Osteopathy, we treat a wide range of medical conditions and injuries from work, recreation and sports related activities. People of all ages and backgrounds can be treated with osteopathy, including the elderly, pregnant women, sports people and children.  You do NOT need a GP referral to see an osteopath.

Osteopaths are body mechanics.  Through treatment we promote the smooth functioning of all joints and soft tissues in the body, which can help to improve mobility and physical wellbeing.  We don’t just treat the painful area, we treat the body as a whole and provide advice on how you can keep your body mechanically well for the future.

You will be safe in our hands.  All our osteopaths are regulated by the General Osteopathic Council and have completed training for at least four years before registering.  Our osteopaths are required to complete 30 hours of professional development training each year to maintain their registration, which means they are up to date with research and medical developments.

If you are unsure of whether osteopathy can help, there is no need to worry.  Our osteopaths can recognise when treatment may not be appropriate.  We will therefore refer you to your GP if required, to ensure you receive the most appropriate care for your condition.
